El hallazgo que la gente pasa por alto
A través de la literatura aleatoria, los protocolos de ayuno producen una pérdida de peso comparable a la restricción energética continua de la misma magnitud. Donde un ensayo iguala las calorías, el brazo de ayuno rara vez gana. Esto se informa de manera consistente y se comunica de manera consistentemente insuficiente, porque "funciona aproximadamente tan bien como comer menos" es un mal titular.
Sigue siendo un resultado útil. Para algunas personas, una regla sobre cuándo comer es mucho más fácil de seguir que una regla sobre cuánto, y la adherencia es lo que realmente determina los resultados a lo largo de un año.
